RRISD Robotic Program Applications
Redbud Elementary is excited to be participating in RRISD’s Robotics Program! Using LEGO® Education Spike Prime kits, fifth and fourth grade students will learn to build and code robots. We will meet after school on Mondays from 3:15 – 4:15 (unless there is no school). There is no cost for students to participate. Acceptance into the program will be based on completion of the application by students AND parents. Then, a lottery system will determine the 20 team members.
To apply, your child must submit a paper application (handed out to classroom teachers) and parents will need to complete this online form that outlines the dates/details of the program. Your child should have received a paper application in their classroom. Applications must be submitted by the student on paper to Mrs. Vasquez (D2319) by Monday October 3rd. Click here to view a copy of the child’s application. You are welcome to print this application in advance as well.
The student’s paper application and the parents’ online form will need to be completed and submitted by Monday October 3rd. Parents can access the online form through our Redbud Elementary website or the weekly Principal Redbud Update.
We are very excited to be able to offer this opportunity to our students. If you have any questions, please email at Kathryn_Fallon@roundrockisd.org
Thank you!
Coaches,
Melissa Vasquez and Kathryn Fallon
